Welcome to the Devon Conservation Forum

The Devon Conservation Forum is a registered charity working for a Sustainable Environment in Devon providing a platform for all those concerned about Devon's Landscape, Resources and Heritage.

Forum's objectives

To improve, conserve and protect the rural, built and marine environment of Devon and its wildlife.'

Membership
The Forum is supported by its membership through annual subscriptions which are tailored for individuals, amenity and community groups, societies and local authorities including parish and district councils.
Devon County Council provide a small but invaluable grant to assist the Forum in the pursuit of its objectives.

Activities
With our partners the Devon Towns Forum and Southwest Association of Civic Societies we endeavour to hold one major seminar per annum on a subject of strategic importance. Expert guest speakers provide a detailed insight into the issues facing our county.

Our newsletter FOCUS, which is distributed free to members, contains information on environmental issues relating to Devon.  It is produced twice a year and members are encouraged to contribute articles for publication.

We are involved in two awards annually. The John Mejor Award for environmental achievement which is co-sponsored with UNISON and the Arnold Sayers award for architectural excellence which is held in association with the RIBA.
